IPL Photofacial Laser Facial in Miami
No More Make Up – Lighten, Brighten and Even Your Skin Tone!
Have you always wanted flawless glowing skin? Now its possible with IPL Photofacial Laser Facial in Miami. As our skin ages it begins to develop broken capillaries, sun damage, smoke damage, mild acne scars, enlarged pores, dull complexion, uneven pigmentation, freckles, rosacea/red flushed skin, liver spots, fine lines and wrinkles.
Prevention is the best treatment for pigmented lesions. However, it is possible to reverse the damage with laser treatments as well as chemical peels. Breakthrough IPL photofacial technology uses high intensity pulses of visible light to improve the appearance and texture of the skin. Our Syneron IPL Photofacial with SR and SRA hand pieces uses patient technology which combines intense pulse light and radio frequency energy. This allows the laser light to penetrate to the deeper layers of the skin and break down the pigmentation much faster then traditional IPL devices. The RF energy also stimulates collagen production to improve the overall elasticity of the skin. Unlike other IPL systems, the SR and SRA hand pieces offer a wide range of settings which are safe for patients with both lighter to darker skin tones.

How does IPL Photofacial Laser Facial work?
IPL stands for intense pulse light. This is a non-ablative procedure which means that it does not damage the surface of the skin. The intense light is delivered to the deeper dermis layers of the skin. The superficial epidermis is left untouched. The light energy causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict. This reduces redness and fine lines in as little as 30 minutes. IPL also stimulates the production of collagen, although it is not as effective as our Laser Skin Tightening treatment.
The laser light heats up the target chromophore – melanin. Which allows your body to naturally reabsorb the pigment. With each session, the results of IPL. photorejuvenation become more and more pronounced pronounced. So don’t wait to reveal your smooth, beautiful and glowing skin!

When you come in for your IPL Photofacial in Miami, our trained laser specialist will first cleanse the skin of any access oil and make up. The client will feel a smooth surface of the laser on the skin, followed by a pinching sensation and a series of light flashes. The photofacial usually feels like a slight stinging sensation very similar to the snapping of a rubber band.
In order to avoid any complications, Avalon Medical Spa uses conservative IPl Photofacial settings to establish a base line and see how your skin reacts. This allows us to prevent and avoid any risks that may be associated with IPL/Photofacial Miami treatments. Once the treatment is complete, the remaining gel is removed with a warm wash cloth. Avalon Medical Spa also uses a propriety gel that will help cool the skin by 10 degrees within three minutes of application. This gel and a broad spectrum SFP are applied immediately after the laser to avoid any post inflammatory pigmentation.
